Damp follow up...

Nope, it has not miraculously dried up and not needing fixed...! We've gotten a few quotes for the job and are "just" needing to check some details with The Guy to make sure we're comfy with him doing the job. Then The Guy can get started and we should be dried up by the new year...? :P Honestly I don't know when we can move back downstairs... Firstly we're needing to move up again! :P :P :P

That's what "we've" been busy doing the last...week...or so? Gosh, I seem to never be able to keep up with time! Any hoot, Stephen's been fixing and sorting, taking the old ceiling down, putting plasterboards and "fix-it"-wallpaper (that now makes plastering redundant! ;)) up. This weekend we had help from my auntie M and her S. and we got loads done...though Stephen had already sorted the worst of the walls out by himself. Now there's a bit more painting (and drying!), putting back/on window frame left to do and then the room will be ready to house 4 people again. :]

New Bedroom Light.
There something 80's about it which made me a bit hesitant but, it looks good!(?) :)
I'm really glad that the room's all pretty and done up, it would have driven me mad living in the state it was in, again. I just wish it wasn't such a need for it to be done...
