Sooo...1st of advent's tomorrow and for once I feel a bit christmas:y before it's over and done with! :) Usually Christmas sort of hits me the day before Christmas Eve. I might get a bit of a nudge at Lucia, but last year I missed that too as I was working so I was (as per usual!) taken a bit by surprise that Christmas was already here...! :D

Not this year though! :) We've "finally" got our fake tree bought, we've been debating real vs. fake for years and not gotten round to acutally buying one... Because we did decide that a real one (indoors) is too much of a mess but fake ones are mostly blah if you don't want to pay a fortune for them (which I would do if I had the fortune to spend! ;) )... So previous years we've gotten a real one to have outside, on our porch...but...it's not been the same thing as having one inside! I've not wanted to decorate it with my "nice" decorations as it's outside and tends to fall over at least a few times before we decide Christmas is over and toss it! :)

The fake tree we got was at a sensible price (i.e. cheap!) and it actully looks OK when dressed in the blue, silver and white xmas tree decorations. I just need a bit more tinsle and it'll be fab! ;) I'll post a photo of it when it's "fully dressed". ;)
