My oldest and dearest friend A. had a beautiful, healthy, baby girl today! ♥ I was lucky enough to see her, and her little family, last night and I was
thrilled to hear labour had started early this morning and baby
(still no name) was born noon:ish! ♥ I can't wait 'til I get to see the little cutie pie! ♥
Congratulations to Mum, Dad and big sister Elisia! :)

Awwe! That is really sweet.
How long do you have to name a baby in Sweden? Here they won't let you leave the hospital without a name...
:) We've got aaages! :D But tons of rules attached...!
I think you'll get a "reminder" to give the baby a name after 3 months...or is it 6...?
There's also rules as to what you're "allowed" to name a child. Brandnames are not ok, or anything that might offend or that sounds/seems political. Surnames are not ok as first names and neither is a "boy" name on a girl...etc. and so on...! True! :)
If...whoever it is that's in charge...don't approve of the name you've choosen for your child you'll get a certain time to appeal or change it or you'll get some kind of fine or something...
Still alot of bizarre names out there though! :D There's this goverment (?) branch that do statistics on anything and everything and there you can do name searches and find out that there's 30 people in Sweden with our surname...! :D According to it there's also people walking about in Sweden with names like Batman and Tarzan!! *lol*
