I'm just writing something for the sake of writing something. I've been feeling totally uninspired lately. :/ Not sure if it's the end of the first course or the beginning of the second one (or perhaps both!) that has just...depleted me. :\ I feel totally drained.
I just realised that I haven't even mentioned that the drainage work on the house has been done!? How could I miss that!? :O
It got done fairly smoothly. Apparently the house had not only not had any drainage work done in the last 60 or so years but it seems to have been built without sufficient drainage! :O It's fixed now but I'm amazed that there's not been a damp issue in the basement until now... What sort of fool builds a house without anywhere for all the rain/wetness to go, except straight into the ground i.e. foundation of the house?!? *sigh!*
We had more snow last week :) and then rain again these last few days :/ so we're back to brown... Maybe the grey days dampens my mood too? :\
I don't know...I just feel a bit overwhelmed by Life at the moment without finding the inspiration to do anything about it. :/

School will do that to you. Sometimes your Brain gets so Crammed with Information that it just cannot take any more and needs time to just do nothing.

As for your house and no drainage, that is nuts! How old is your house?!
Thanks hun! *hugs* I try to let it veg but it tough as theres a constant flow of information demanding space... It'll be fine, I just hate feeling this blah. :/
The house was built 1942 (or was it -45?) so it's old but not THAT OLD!! :D :D No exuses!
In this climate you HAVE TO have lead the water away from the house...! With all the rain and the melting snows etc. Nuts! :D
