Tangled review

I loved it! :) I thought it was cute and sweet and funny, funnier than Disney usually is(?). It is beautifully made too, how they manage to make the hair so "real" and water so watery are things that just amaze me. :) My favourite part is when you see all the paper lanterns being lit and how the light spreads though the town and all over the 'kingdom' when they rise to the sky. *gooos bumps and teary eyes!* Beautiful.

The synopsis is (as usual when it comes to Disney) somewhat different than the 'original' Brothers Grimm version but... :) Disney can get away with it! ;) Rapunzel is (of course) a princess, but has been kidnapped and put into the (traditonal) high tower. And, her hair isn't just long but has magical healing powers too! ;D Love it! :D

I can most certainly recommend it! :)

'I see the Light'
Performed by Mandy Moore as "Rapunzel"
and Zachary Levi as "Flynn Rider

Lyrics:
Rapunzel:
All those days, watching from the windows
All those years, outside looking in
All that time, never even knowing
Just how blind I'd been

Now I'm here blinking in the starlight
Now I'm here, suddenly I see
Standing here, it's oh so clear
I'm where I'm meant to be

And at last I see the light, and it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light, and it's like the sky is new
And it's warm and real and bright,
and the world has somehow shifted.
All at once, everything looks different, now that I see you.

Flynn:
All those days, chasing down a daydream
All those years, living in a blur
All that time, never truly seeing
Things the way they were

Now she's here, shining in the starlight
Now she's here, suddenly I know
If she's here, it's crystal clear
I'm where I'm meant to go

Rapunzel and Flynn:
And at last I see the light, and it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light, and it's like the sky is new
And it's warm and real and bright,
and the world has somehow shifted.
All at once, everything is different, now that I see you.
Now that I see you.
