Liar, liar...? ;)

* I'm back today, not Sunday! :)
* The party's cancelled, because Anton's got a tummybug (again! :/)
* Oh! I don't think the history exam went too bad at all...! :D

No party today! :( Missy isn't seeming too bothered about it. Thankfully! :) I'd hate it if both the birthday and the party was a cause for tears...! Anton's already better, he was really only sick on Friday morning... He had a fever on Thursday evening...so possibly fever induced...? Thankfully he's both fever and puke free today! :)

I'm feeling a bit...what's the word in English...? ambiguous...(?) about school at the moment. I don't know if my own standards are too high (on myself or school/teachers?) or if something is lacking in the quality of the teaching. I mean...I'm glad I'm not more behind after missing two weeks of school, with barely any time of my own to catch up...but...at the same time I'm puzzled that I'm not...!

I've missed all but 1 or 2 of 5 possibly 6 classes on the history of China and still I'm feeling fairly good about yesterday's exam!? I mean... if I've not really missed anything, what's the point in going to class if I'm not benefitting any from being there...?? Hm!

Psychology is another example... :/ The teacher starts all these interesting things about conflicts and the psychology behind violence and how children deal with a crisis etc and so on but...he never finishes anything!?! For sure...! We start something and then do it for the next class or so until he realises that we've not got all the time in the world so he starts the next thing in a hurry, without rounding off the last subject. Hm...!
I keep hoping that I'll learn something, get an aha-moment or just something, anything...but no! From having had quite high hopes and aspirations on this subject I'm now just aiming for a pass... If it had a worse spot on my schedule I'd drop out of it too, it's in the realm of "too many points" so it'd be no problem, but at the moment I might just as well keep going...

"History of ideas and culture" is just a joke actually but has been from the start so I'm not disapointed over it being the same. It's taught by both the history and psychology teacher, Ms. Whateveryouthink and Mr. Disorgnisedknowitall ...hmmm...!! :[

Philosophy just didn't give me anything so I dropped out of it this week.

Then I've got my Creative Writing and Maths left and there I do feel that I've fallen behind, I can see the benefit of going to each and every class and I look forward going them! :) I'm having to work to catch up and I don't mind doing it! :)

OK, rant over! ;)

E.
