Coming home from school today I was greeted by two bouncy, super happy little ones. :D
- Mommy, mommy, mommy, mum!! Our beds are downstairs!! Downstairs!! Come, come!Surprise! Downstairs mommy!!
- What!? :D Daaaad...?!
- Come! Come! Come! Mommy...!!
-Alright, alriiight...I'm coming! :)
- Tadaaaa!!
Wow! A lovely surprise indeed! (even though we did decide to organise the moving together ;) but, oh well!) All of our beds are now moved downstairs and Stephen and I have our own room again. :) Something we haven't had since Anton was born...! :D So about time!! ;) Anton and Erin are in their own room, just across the little hallway at the back of the house.
I've never seen the kids happier about going to bed! *lol!* Anton was ready to go before he'd finished his dinner. :) Managed to take a few pics on the mobile phone of the rooms so here's a few before and after's for you to enjoy.

Fantastic job!!
Maybe S should become an interior decorator *ducks* Seriously though, beautiful work!!
*lol* ;)
He's an amazing planner/builder. Definately good to have around in an old house that needs a lot of fixing. :D
The children's room used keep the old oil/diesel? tank and the room was a strange L-shape. We quite quickly changed to more environment (and space) friendly pellets heating. S built a wall to make the boiler room a more sensable size. Then he sealed in the old door and put in two new doors (demolition style!). Then there's the putting in a bigger and a new window in the space too of course...!! :D
It's hard to imagine now what it used to look like! :D
I wish I thought of taking photos of how it looked like when we moved in, even these before pics are after a great deal of work has been done! :)
Skojs! Och fint! Hälsa Steve och klappa på axeln för väl utfört arbete. :) Kul att det blivit gjort. Ska bli roligt att kolla live på söndag. *p&k*
