Blog over a cup of tea...

I posted my grades today and I can now take a short break from my "autumn stress" until it's time to send my grades from this term to complete my application.

Stress over being terribly behind in maths was also lessened by a lot today when I found out I got to postpone next weeks maths exam to when I've "caught up"! :D My teacher almost got a hug when he said that!! *lol* He clarified that I'll not get any length of time to catch up but that I can let him know when I'm "ready"...! :D :D :D

Erin still has a nasty sounding cough and a fever. Stephen was home with her today but he has an appointment tomorrow morning that he can't reschedule so I'll miss my morning classes but hoping to make my afternoon one. *fingers crossed*

Everyone says how difficult it is to be a student when one has children and I mostly disagree...! Being a mom and a student isn't difficult or anything admirable really. Sure, I don't have as much spare time for my own stuff as my fellow "child free" students have but I wouldn't have that even if I was working ('cause staying a home isn't an option for us) so it's really not a issue for me...

The hard part of having children and studying full time is when they're not well...because I miss my classes, it's tricky part and involves some organisational skills to work but...most of the time it does and thankfully our little ones really aren't unwell that often! ;)

Not saying that its easy to be a mom and/or a student, it is hard work! But its not, in my view, extraordinary... :)

Missy's coughing again... :( Poor baby...

Baby...? My baby turns 3 tomorrow!?! :O Three whole years have gone since that awful last part of the pregnancy when I was just beyond fed up and had been since about week 30! :/ ;) I was two weeks over due and I'd been to the hospital for a check up for a head ache that wouldn't budge... We were both just fine and the doctor told me that perhaps the examination would get things started and I didn't dare to hope... I was clinging to the promise that if she hadn't arrived over the weekend I would get induced no later than Tuesday, 5 days later. :)

It did get things started and labor started on Friday about 3 am and she was born 8.40 pm Friday 13th April 2007. It was an amazing experience giving birth to our ray of sunshine. I was so there the whole time, completely unlike what I'd experienced with Anton when I was just...not.

Miss Erin in the hospital "bucket", just a day old.

:) Hope she likes the little pressie from us. :) A tinkerbell top and big girl panties (panties is the only thing she's asked for! *lol*)
We'll have a small Family 'do' for her at the weekend.

Now I'm out of tea and it's time for bed!

Lillskrottan! :)
